Nascar is back

NASCAR, or National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, is the main organization that governs stock car racing in the United States. It is the most popular motorsport in the country, just behind the NFL.

Founded in 1949, NASCAR has since enjoyed immense success and organizes several competitions, including the NASCAR Cup Series, which is the most prestigious.

NASCAR is a season of 36 races where the winner gets 40, the second 35, and so on until the 36th who gets 1 point.
There is a playoff system where the 16 drivers who have accumulated the most points at the end of the regular season qualify. The playoffs take place over 4 rounds of 3 races each.
At the start of each round, points are reset and at the end of each round, the lowest-ranked drivers are eliminated until only one remains: the NASCAR Cup Series champion.

While from 2006 to 2011 it already offered NASCAR vehicles in the GO range, and from 2007 to 2011 (plus 2 oldies vehicles in 2016), Carrera is doing it again at the end of 2024, with 4 vehicles in the GO, Evolution and Digital 132 ranges with a partnership with the Nascar Hendrick Motorsport team.

Very popular in the USA, the NASCAR boxes will undoubtedly be a success in North America. Europeans will also be able to take advantage of this license and discover NASCAR.

The Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) NASCAR team competes in the NASCAR Cup Series championship.
