A few days ago the Carrera website was updated and now presents several presentation pages of the new Build’n Race range. A nice presentation of this new range is offered with two long pages composed of texts and photos.
Let’s present this new range the Build’n Race
The principle is simple, it is the meeting of the GO road circuit and the creative world of bricks. You know the interlocking brick construction toys. Let’s not be afraid to name it the name of the most famous manufacturer LEGO. The bricks are called Lego! You have Lego, you will be able to fix them on your Carrera GO circuit.
Carrera simply offers you adapters that will allow you to make the connections between the circuit and your Lego. Carrera is not a brick manufacturer, each to their own. Allowing to link the two worlds is a great idea.
In addition to these adapters that attach to the track, Carrera offers vehicles with a brick-type chassis. And yes, the base of the vehicle is a large brick with wheels. Two solutions are available to you. The first is to use the bodywork elements that attach to the chassis and which give a rather normal appearance of a car from the GO range. Indeed, two bodywork elements can be clipped together like bricks to give a classic look to the car. But you can also take out your bricks, let your imagination flourish and create the vehicle(s) of your dreams.
In the two presentation pages of the Build’n Race range, Carrera offers ideas for decorating circuits as well as several vehicles. https://carrera-toys.com/fr/carrera-build-n-race-inspiration
Carrera warns you that adding a large number of parts to the chassis will make your car heavier and may affect its top speed. In addition, depending on the elements added, the balance of the car will be modified. This is normal because its center of gravity will be modified.
We will test a Build’n Race box very soon to give you our impressions.
