Combine FIRST boxes

Carrera First sets are a maximum of 3.5 meters long. It is not possible to buy extension rails or vehicles alone. The only solution is to combine several sets. First sets are very cheap with an average of 30 euros with two cars.

I combined my two First sets

  • 20063013 : Mickey and the roadster racers (3,5m)
  • 20063032 : PAW PATROL – Race ‘N’ Rescue (3,5m)

The good news is that the cars run perfectly over the entire length of the circuit, which is almost 7 meters (it is possible to use only one starting rail so the second one stays wisely in its box).

Each box includes relatively few straight lines, only three but is well stocked in curves with a quantity of 8. This leaves a lot of impassibilities for circuits. You do not have to use all the rails, you can make small or medium circuits. My two boxes are with blue rails, I love this blue, it changes from the black that we find for the 1/43° (GO/GO+/D143) or 1/24° (D132 and D124) tracks. But it is possible to mix black and blue boxes. Maybe one day Carrera will offer other colors, a beautiful pink for girls who knows? They say that now toys are no longer unisex, they too can play on the circuit and become great drivers!

So here are some circuits made, if you also have made beautiful circuits, if you want to share them you can send me photos (without people) on my email noscollections@gmail.com .

Normally to balance the length of each track, we make a circuit in eight but sometimes we also have to have fun with free circuits.
