Track 1/24°: Track supports (pillars)

Track supports allow you to raise the track in order to pass over another portion of track for example.

From experience in a box of 8, the number of supports provided (i.e. 6) is too low. With the passage of vehicles the track moves and lacks stability. I therefore advise adding pillars.

For this you have several solutions. The first is to buy Carrera kits

Standard pillar set ref: 20085201

set of 2 feet and its tubes

  • 2 tubes of 27mm
  • 2 tubes of 65mm

Price, around €6

Variable upright head ref: 20085203

3 rotating support heads

Note: a box with a support set has 6 supports, i.e. 3 sets of feet and 2 sets of heads.

Price, approximately €6

If you are missing supports, lost or damaged, you can find 3D files on the internet to print new ones.

On the thingiverse website, you will find the stl files of the different elements. The pillars but also the barrier supports.
